Qualified: Winners, Group F - P12 W9 D1 L2
Squad list:
# Name Pos. DOB

1. Iker Casillas GK 20/5/1981

  KEY PLAYER
Torres shouldered the expectations of the Anfield crowd with bewildering ease in his first season at Liverpool and will be burdened with the hopes of a nation in Austria and Switzerland over the next month. Spain have always been regarded as the great under-achievers of European football - their last major title was the European crown of 1964 - but there is a sense that players like Cesc Fabregas, Andres Iniesta and David Villa could help to end the long wait for more glory. All three of those are obscenely talented, but if Torres doesn't click their hopes will be dashed once more.
